far off at the bottom of japan, separated from the mainland, is the kyushu region. technology is thriving here, perhaps because this region is untouched by the territory wars. humans have progressed successfully into the 20th century, complete with fully established towns and cities, roads, electricity, plumbing, fully functioning automobiles — you name it, but all at the cost of mother earth. yokai have been driven out of their homes and now live in small, isolated areas where mankind has yet to defile nature with construction, but it only seems like a matter of time before they lose everything.
yokai attacks are so far and few in between here, humans that grow up in kyushu almost seem to forget they even exist. they even forget that there is a war going on. nevertheless, there are dark secrets hiding out in kyushu unknown to the common person.
